Handmade Unisex V Neck Lined Indian Chiffon Dress Shirt or Scrubs - Banded Collar - Green Trees - Dion H848
Introducing our new style of Mumtaz sari chiffon shirts! This brightly colored chiffon sari material is lined and made into a casual V-neck style.
The Dion shirts are made from sari fabric which was fair trade purchased during our time living in India. This material is a silk/polyester blend that's exquisitely soft, quick drying, and doesn't need ironing. This makes for an ideal shirt which is compact, stylish, and comfortable in hot weather.
While this material would've traditionally been wrapped into a delicate sari in India, I've made it into some one-of-a-kind shirts. Perfect for parties, the office, or as scrubs! The Dion shirt comes either with a small purple border at the bottom, or without.
Our V-neck shirts are designed to fit loosely with more room in the chest and shorter in length. The neckline is reinforced to give some shape to these shirts.

A note about Sari Material - all my material is/was bought in India where we lived for two years. Although it is often termed "silk", this is more of a colloquial expression, referring to a combination of polyester and silk. It is soft and exquisitely comfortable!
Sari fabric also may have what others would call "imperfections". Tiny white spots where the ink missed, miniscule snags in this delicate material, chalk marks from the manufacturer, etc. These are not blemishes, but an inherent part of this original, ethnic material. I try to note "marks" when noticeable, and do not sell any significantly damaged items.
Please keep in mind that sari material is delicate and will snag easily. The women of India make it look easy...carrying buckets on their heads, children on their hips...but regardless, care should be taken with this handmade garment.
Care instructions: Machine wash gentle, or preferably hand wash. Hang dry, or tumble low heat.
Thanks for looking and appreciating my Indian inspired men's shirts!!
