Elegant! Ladies colorful, flowing dress made from Indian sari silk. This beautiful, knee-length dress is exquisitely soft and comfortable to wear. Designed and stitched from ethnic sari material which flows well and keeps the wearer cool.

The Flora dress is a stunning pink with royal blue and green floral accents with a touch of sheen. This 3/4 length sleeve dress also has an accented, gently ruffled bottom, but I left the beauty to display itself in the print.

This Mumtaz original dress is lined in the body with soft crepe polyester and is lightweight. Designed to fit a range of body builds with a tapered, feminine cut. Use as a swimming cover-up, on summer days, on a beach trip, or for a formal night out!

When hung properly from the washing machine, this dress should not need to be ironed. This lightweight material dries very quickly, which is ideal for hot summers, traveling, and tropical climates.

A note about Sari Material - all my material is/was bought in India where we have lived for two years with our young children. Although it is often termed "silk", this is more of a colloquial expression. This is often a combination of polyester and silk which is soft and exquisitely comfortable!

Sari fabric also may have what others would call "imperfections". Tiny white spots where the ink missed, miniscule snags in this delicate material, chalk marks from the manufacturer, etc. These are not blemishes, but an inherent part of this original, ethnic material. I try to note "marks" when noticeable, and do not sell any significantly damaged items.

Please keep in mind that sari material is delicate and will snag easily. The women of India make it look easy...carrying buckets on their heads, children on their hips...but regardless, care should be taken with this handmade garment.

Care instructions: Machine wash gentle, or preferably hand wash. Hang dry, or tumble low heat.

Custom orders welcomed, as I have plenty of extra sari material. However, I usually can not duplicate the same color/print since sari material is not sold in multiples.
