New Winter Collection lined, handmade men's shirt made exclusively by Mumtaz Creations.

The Landon shirt is a stunning dark brown plaid on tan with burgundy accents. These warm tones make a handome, truly original piece of wearable art!

The exterior material is a relatively sheer polyester Indian sari material with coordinating broadcloth cotton lining. This durable cotton lining will soften after several washes, while the combination of the two fabrics gives a good bit of warmth.

This long sleeved Mumtaz original shirt has two buttons at the wrist for adjustable sizing. The collar keeps its shape with the cotton lining, and I've added a decorative chest pocket.

A note about Indian Sari Material - all my material was purchased fairly in India where we lived for two years with our small children. It was there that I developed a deep admiration for the vibrant colors and culture of this area. Since then I've been fusing this creatively into the clothing that I make.

Sari fabric also may have what others would call "imperfections". Tiny white spots where the ink missed, miniscule snags in this delicate material, slight overprints, chalk marks from the manufacturer, etc. These are not blemishes, but an inherent part of this original, ethnic material. I always try to work around such areas, and attempt to note such "marks" when noticeable.

Please keep in mind that sari material is delicate and will snag easily. The women of India make it look easy...carrying buckets on their heads, children on their hips...but regardless, care should be taken with this handmade garment.

Care instructions: Machine wash inside out on gentle cycle. Tumble dry low heat.

Custom orders welcomed, as I have plenty of extra sari material. However, I usually can not duplicate the same color/print since sari material is not sold in multiples.
