The Verona shirt is a handsome deep burgundy, also called Sangria, with vibrant accenting patterns. The exterior material is a lightweight polyester Indian sari material with a broadcloth cotton lining. This combination results in warmth and an amazing, flowing fit.
This long sleeve Mumtaz original shirt is made with an unlined, decorative chest pocket and has dual buttons at the wrist for adjustable sizing. The collar holds its shape nicely. It's professionally made in a casual Western fit with flat seams for the best in lasting comfort.

A note about Indian Sari Material - all my material was purchased fairly in India where we lived for two years with our small children. It was there that I developed a deep admiration for the vibrant colors and culture of this area. Since then I've been fusing this creatively into the clothing that I make.
Sari fabric may have what others would call "imperfections". Tiny white spots where the ink missed, miniscule snags in this delicate material, slight overprints, chalk marks from the manufacturer (which wash out), etc. These are not blemishes, but an inherent part of this original, ethnic material. I always try to work around such areas, and attempt to note such "marks" when noticeable.
Please keep in mind that sari material is delicate and will snag easily. The women of India make it look easy...carrying buckets on their heads, children on their hips...but regardless, care should be taken with this handmade garment.
Care instructions: Machine wash inside out on gentle cycle. Tumble dry low heat or preferably hang dry.
Custom orders welcomed, as I have plenty of extra sari material. However, I usually can not duplicate the same color/print since sari material is not sold in multiples, and styles change in time.
We appreciate your business here at Mumtaz Creations where we've been fusing culture and color with fashion since 2008!!
