Men's Animal Hand Block Printed Indian Woven Cotton Short Sleeve Button Down Pocket Shirt - All Sizes - Crocodile Crossing I866
Mumtaz Creations' handmade lightweight cotton men's shirt made from ethnic Indian fabric in a traditional button down, collared style.
The Crocodile Crossing shirt is a unique block print of crocodiles in a vertical pattern. A decorative border accents the bottom. This lightweight voile cotton is perfect for hot summer days!
Hand block printing is an ancient Indian technique that uses hand carved wooden blocks, natural plant dyes, and salt water rinses to create original artwork on fabrics.
I tailored this fabric into a traditional, loose fitting men's button down shirt. The collar is lightly stiffened, and it comes with a left-side pocket. Mumtaz men's shirts are made with flat felled seams (much like a pair of jeans) for the best in comfort and a professional finish.
This ethnic material dries very quickly, which is ideal for hot summers, traveling, and tropical climates. This durable weight cotton will wear well for many years.

A note about Indian Material - all cottons have been prewashed/preshrunk before sewing. Some cottons, particularly hand-printed ones, will bleed slightly in the first couple washes. This material comes from Jaipur, India during our time living in mainland India, and was tailored later in the US.
Indian hand-block printed fabric may occasionally have what others would call "imperfections" since it is handmade. It is expected to occasionally see small overprints and inconsistencies. These are not blemishes, but an inherent part of this original, ethnic material. I try to work around most blemishes while cutting and sewing, and do my best to note "marks" when noticeable.
Care instructions: Machine or hand wash COLD. Hang dry, or tumble low heat. Light ironing may be necessary.
