One of a kind, artistic men's dress shirt handmade from Indian sari silk material. A silky soft summer favorite!

The Yannick shirt is bright and cheerful with an array of blue and ivory flowers accenting the shirt. The back mirrors the front in pattern, except the XL which has a contrasting back (third photo).

This medium weight silk comes straight from India and has a touch of sheen to it. This high quality material dries very quickly, doesn't retain odors, and typically doesn't need ironing. An excellent choice for everyday wear, traveling, and hot climates.

I've made these shirts with a lightly stiffened collar and left side chest pocket. Professional stitching with flat seams ensures an heirloom garment that lasts.

A similar print on blue is found in the Azraq 833 shirts.

A note about Sari Material - all my material was bought in India where we lived for two years. Although it is often termed "silk", this is more of a colloquial expression referring to a combination of polyester and silk.

Sari fabric also may have what others would call "imperfections". Tiny white spots where the ink missed, miniscule snags in this delicate material, chalk marks from the fabric manufacturer, etc. These are not blemishes, but an inherent part of this original, ethnic material. I try to work around any noticeable areas and note "marks" when apparent.

*** The Large short sleeve shirt has such a blemish, a snag on the back, and has therefore been discounted. ***

Please keep in mind that sari material is delicate and will snag easily. The women of India make it look easy...carrying buckets on their heads, children on their hips...but regardless, care should be taken with this handmade garment.

Care instructions: Machine wash gentle, or preferably hand wash. Line dry.

Custom orders welcomed, as I have plenty of extra sari material. However, I usually can not duplicate the same color/print since sari material is not sold in multiples.

Thanks for your continued support of our creativity which we've been generating since 2008!!
