Summer fashion! Ladies ethnic sari silk blouse with 3/4 sleeves by Mumtaz Creations. Also made in little girl's dresses and a matching boy's shirt!

The Junayd blouse is a sheer sari silk that's been lined in the body area leaving the arms free and cool. It's designed with a fancy heart shaped inset chest line and low-cut back. This effeminate blouse drapes beautifully with side slits at the waist.

This colorway is a stunning barn red with yellow and blue splashes on the front, and a floral pattern on the back. Yes, it's reversible!

While living in India with our family, I developed an affinity for the beautiful colors and culture of this area. Since then I've been making original clothing with this admiration as a foundation. The bright colors in this one-of-a-kind shirt are outstanding!

A note about Sari Material - all my material was bought in India where we lived for two years. Although it is often termed "silk", this is more of a colloquial expression referring to a combination of polyester and silk. It is soft and exquisitely comfortable!

Sari fabric also may have what others would call "imperfections". Tiny white spots where the ink missed, miniscule snags in this delicate material, chalk marks from the manufacturer, etc. These are not blemishes, but an inherent part of this original, ethnic material. I try to note "marks" when noticeable, and do not sell any significantly damaged items.

Please keep in mind that sari material is delicate and will snag easily. The women of India make it look easy...carrying buckets on their heads, children on their hips...but regardless, care should be taken with this handmade garment.

Care instructions: Machine wash gentle, or preferably hand wash. Hang dry, or tumble low heat.

Custom orders welcomed, as I have plenty of extra sari material. However, I usually can not duplicate the same color/print since sari material is not sold in multiples.
