Handsome, handmade woven cotton men's shirt in a traditional button down, collared style.
The Giles shirt is a heavy weight cotton in dark olive with small black, burgundy and gold accents. The gold has a bit of shine, making this a super classy shirt!
It is made from amazing fabric that I personally selected on a trip to Jaipur, India, the heartland of ethnic textiles. Only one of it's kind ever made! The sleeves are longer, incorporating a fancy, traditional Indian edge.
The collar is lightly stiffened, and comes with a hidden left-side pocket. A spare button is included inside above the waistline. Made with folded seams for the best comfort.
This durable weight cotton will wear well for many years. Light ironing may be necessary.

A note about Indian Material - all cottons have been prewashed/preshrunk before sewing. Some cottons, particularly hand-printed ones, will bleed slightly in the first couple washes. This material has a slight odor when wet, but wears off after several washes.
Indian fabric also may occasionally have what others would call "imperfections". Tiny white specks where the ink missed, miniscule snags in this delicate material, chalk marks from the manufacturer, etc. These are not blemishes, but an inherent part of this original, ethnic material. I try to note "marks" when noticeable, and do not sell any significantly damaged items.
Care instructions: Machine or hand wash cold. Hang dry, or tumble low heat.
Custom orders welcomed, as I have plenty of extra material. However, I usually can not duplicate the same color/print since sari and kurta material is not sold in multiples.
